About the Event
VIPASHYANA RETREAT (3 MARKS OF EXISTENCE)
During this two day retreat we will be applying mindfulness to gain insights into ourselves and the world of our experience. In Buddhism this is often referred to as vipashyana practice. This retreat will focus on the three core insights of impermanence, suffering and no self which are called the three marks of existence.
These insights enable us to overcome the three distorted views of seeing:
1. changing as unchanging
2. pleasure as happiness
3. no self as self
