Mantra Chanting

We would like to warmly invite you to join our new series of Mantra Chanting guided by senior practitioner and founding member of CVM, Maria Damsholt, every second Tuesday from 18h15 till 18h45, just before our Dharma Classes with Stephan Pende at 19h.  These sessions will introduce the meaning, importance and power of mantras, as we connect with a different mantra each session. The sessions are open to all, new or seasoned practitioners and visitors from any background. We will recite the mantras sitting, lying down, or while offering service and setting up the space in preparation for the classes.  We will begin at 18h15 and round off the chanting by 18h45. It will provide a meaningful way to arrive and settle into the space and to connect with, or discover a practice you might not have had the opportunity to until now!  If you're curious or new to it, you can simply sit quietly and enjoy as others chant and recite. There's no expectation to perform, do or know anything. It's open to all and donation based. Our first Mantra Session we will connect with Arya Tara, the Mother of all The Buddhas, a symbol of unconditional love, courage and compassion.  Feel free to reach out to Maria with any questions. Besides being a long time practitioner and founding member of CVM, Maria is a clinical psychologist and has started and mentored many projects under the Center's umbrella during the last three decades.  Maria is offering a hospice training under the project she initiated  "Conscious Living and Dying", as support for anyone dealing with illness, privately or professionally, as well as training volunteers and professionals working in Hospice centers. We are actively looking for a cost free location where we can host the next volunteer training over the course of 3 weekends.
