[vc_column_text]CVM is run exclusively by volunteers! There are about 50 people who contribute in all kinds of ways. There are many opportunities for you to contribute your skills to the Center, and it is a really nice group of people!

There is a monthly Sangha meeting where we meet to talk about all of our events and projects as well as having group discussion.
There are many type of volunteer tasks, so you can almost certainly find something you enjoy doing!
Offering Events- regular events or one time events, schedule depends on the event
coordinating, planning, advertising, working actual events
Keeping up the Center, primarily mon-friday afternoons
shopping once per week, cleaning, taking care of plants, and many other projects
Administration, primarily mon-friday afternoons
accounting help, mail, membership, general office duties
Getting the word out, primarily mon-friday afternoons
working on the website, making and sharing Facebook events, making posters, advertising in magazines, organizing TV or radio events
Creating free content, primarily mon-friday afternoons
making videos, making cds, making podcasts, other projects
Contributing to our free library, primarily mon-friday afternoons
organizing the library catalogue electronically, writing book reviews and organizing and expanding CVM’s collection through tracking down loaned books and recommending further purchases… Detail oriented people are strongly encouraged to contribute their skills to this growing group!
Offering books and dharma materials in our shop, primarily mon-friday afternoons
planning what to buy, ordering, keeping track of purchases, taking care of the display of things
Fundraising, primarily mon-friday afternoons
Help to make it possible for CVM to offer teachings in the future!
Being part of the Board of Directors
Contribute to the financial planning, legal matters, vision and direction of the Center’s growth!
