Mindfulness for Stress Relief and other life challenges

This class will offer basic instruction in meditation —how to sit, how to relax, how to focus the mind, what to do about distractions, etc. so it is suitable for newcomers as well as those who have been meditating for a while but would like to refresh their practice.
We will also look at how meditation can help deal with stress and various other emotional problems.
As the class continues, we will learn about different forms of meditations, such as mindfulness—e.g. the four foundations of mindfulness on the body, feelings, etc.—as well as analytical and visualisation practices.
The course is taught by CVM’s resident teacher: Ven. Sangye Khadro.
