Volcanic craters, glaciers, colorful rhyolite mountains, waterfalls, beautiful minerals, glacial rivers, fantastic rock formations, northern lights, shooting stars, and the silence of the highlands.
No prior experience in meditation, dreamwork or hiking is necessary.
Meditation is an invitation to slow down and shift from the doing mode to the being mode.To allow yourself to be in a place without pressure supported by the guidance of the course leaders and the presence of the group. Together we are resting in the very nature of your being, in what is sometimes called the natural state, original mind, pure awareness, no mind, or simply emptiness.
Dreams are a significant part of our lives. As an honest and precise mirror of our inner and social life, they reflect how we relate to ourselves and others. This sacred mirror provide spiritual blessings, visions, and guidance. Even when dreams appear in the form of nightmares they are opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Dreams are an expression of our unconscious intelligence. Pointing to imbalances, to pain and problems, but always also to resources, often even to solutions. This problem-solving aspect of dreams may more clearly be appreciated by looking at series of dreams. And this is possible in the week retreat.
Walking gives you the opportunity to rediscover the value of silence and a most simple way of living during daily walks in the amazing landscape of Iceland. Walking and just being there with nature. Having space for deep contemplation and connecting with your innermost essence.
